Graphics: Lynn Deglin was instrumental in having our needs fulfilled whereas other graphic designers fell short. Our expectations were enormous and we expected nothing short of the vision we had for our graphics work and Lynn delivered on all our demands. Lynn not only met with us in person as many times it took to get a clear understanding of what our needs were but she made as many corrections as the project required. We are extremely happy with the quality of work and the final results of our project; we will continue to utilize Lynn’s craftsmanship and talents for the needs of our growing company.”

Jewelry: Lynn Deglin has a wonderfully creative eye and is a master at reworking vintage beads into contemporary jewelry pieces. I had a number of beaded necklaces that were my grandmother's, so very sentimental, but nothing I or my female relatives would wear. Lynn reworked them into bracelets, earrings and even a necklace mixing some of my grandmother's beads from different pieces, and adding other small beads and findings. I am very pleased with them and will be sharing them with my Mother, Aunt and Cousins.”

Photography: I had the pleasure of working with Lynn Deglin when I asked her to take some headshots for my eWomen profile. I'm not one who likes to have her picture taken and Lynn somehow managed to make me feel comfortable. The
result was impressive. I liked quite a few of my pictures and one of them is
posted on my profile.

Those of you who don't know Lynn should make the effort to meet her. She is
a very talented artist who successfully manages a graphics design, photography
and jewelry re-working business. Pretty creative, eh? Her pricing is also
very reasonable.”

Graphics: I am a one-person small business owner. I needed a great logo that would project the ideas that I wanted people to get about my business-- something that would give them the feeling that they would like to do business with me. I am a stickler for presentation. It had to be good so I could feel confident putting it on all my marketing collateral. I really needed someone who could take my ideas and create a distinctive, smart looking logo.

Lynn Deglin did it! She listened to my ideas and creative input and produced a logo—a work of art really—that met my requirement. During the process Lynn was very responsive. She accepted my artistic input. She listened. She guided me to clarify and refine my vision. And I now have the logo I had hoped for. With Lynn's expertise I got my high-quality logo, with minimum time spent and at a reasonable cost.”

Jewelry: Ever Have One of Those Mornings?

I had a tough time getting ready for work this morning. must have tried on 3
or 4 different outfits. Everything was on a pile on the floor, and I was
late in in a tizzy.

And it's all Lynn Deglin (of La Lynni Designs) fault!

She recently took quite a large batch of old jewelry and beads I have
collected since I was a youngster. and reworked them in to new, gorgeous
earrings and bracelets. I have 6 or 7 new bracelets & even more sets of
earrings. each one more stylish and fun than the last.

So this morning - I literally couldn't decide which new precious piece to
wear first! And when I got into the office - I was assaulted by female
coworkers wanting to know where I got the bracelets so that they could get
some too. Little did they know - they are original Deglins - one of a kind
pieces of art!

If you have been saving old jewelry or beads - thinking that "some day"
you'll do something with them..
Call Lynn Now!”

Background
My three major creative efforts came to me at different times in my life. I had no idea that I was creative until I was in my mid-twenties and working in broadcasting. During that time, I became smitten with photography. After 5 years in broadcasting, I continued onto graduate school for a Masters in Information Systems and became an analyst and project manager. When I reached my late 40’s, the need to be creative became much stronger. After attending a jewelry repair class, I fell in love with beading and all of its possibilities. In 2003, I was laid off during the Dot Bomb. After about a year, I was given the opportunity to study graphic design. I now realize that being creative is very much a part of who I am and one of my gifts.
